We’ve recently created this mini newspaper for Cura TV. Issue 1 focusses on the vendors whose products we shot and retouched in-house. The photography style follows on from our development of the brand, bold colours and a sharp grid. This coupled with simple clean typography lets the products stay as the focal point and link back to the strategy behind Cura.
The final Cura newspaper is between A5 and A4, printed on a light uncoated paper with loop stitching to hold it together. Copies will start popping up in London coffee shops in the coming weeks.
The City & Guilds Commendations platform has been created to reward and recognise the hard work of Learners and Centres alike. Commendations is designed to bridge the gap between Medals of Excellence and The Lion Awards, both of which we have also worked on and developed identities for.
Our idea behind the look and feel is to show the concept of uncovering hidden talent, this is expressed through copy and the fold device that further emphasises this. We have created an identity that is bold and impactful, but also flexible and adaptable to allow colleges and centres to incorporate it into their own guidelines.

Our latest poster design for the final show of 2014, Bug 45, at the BFI London. Award-winning comedian Alex Horne returns to fill the final guest host slot of this year at BFI Southbank following a triumphant performance at our London Film Festival special in October.
Ending the year with 2 shows on December 4th – at 6.30 and 8.45pm – when Alex will guide you through the latest selection of music video delights and lead you off on some hilarious comedy detours in between.
We’ve been working on the strategy and branding for the launch of Cura TV. The Cura platform transforms mobile commerce through the power of video. Cura TV is a video-based mobile marketplace that provides a tailored and immersive shopping experience, on-demand. The platform allows vendors to easily shoot videos, tell engaging stories about their products and sell directly to consumers, all from directly within the app, including simple and secure payment and nationwide delivery. Cura TV is built on the world’s fastest transactional video platform.
We’ve worked with the team to craft a brand platform and robust design strategy and then turn that thinking into practice. The Beta version is now online and the app will follow shortly. It’s a brilliant concept and we’ve really enjoyed working with the team to bring this to life.
Last week saw the presentation of the 2014 Lion Awards at the Roundhouse Camden. For over 100 years, City & Guilds have run the annual Medals for Excellence programme to recognise success amongst learners and tutors. This culminates in the Lion Awards – City & Guilds’ most prestigious awards ceremony, acknowledging the best of the best. We worked with City & Guilds, and event agency Ballistic, to deliver the identity and branding for the 4th consecutive year.
Identity design for a new street food setup focussing on recipes that are both healthy and ethically sourced. The Good Source branding is clean and simple with a flexible colour palette allowing the identity to sit cleanly with recipe and product photography.
